C/O : Vince Kuziomko The Physical Park Vaudreuil-Dorion Martin Lucas
Producteur exécutif, Lucas Productions Video Inc. / RDS
Merci Vince!
Ton nouvel ami Marty
Following a shoulder injury that I acquired at another training facility where I wasn’t being supervised properly, I had problems getting back into training. Vince Kuziomko was able to give me back my self-confidence by teaching me the right way to train and by keeping a close eye on my progress. His amazing work allowed me to lose over 100 lbs while staying healthy.
What impressed me the most about Vince is his unlimited energy. Vince is not only a trainer that will take care of your body but he will also take care of your mind. In a mere few seconds he can evaluate your whole condition and adjust himself in order to give you the best possible workout; body and soul! Thank you Vince!

Training with Vince has made a world of difference in my life. I’ve been a member of a gym for most of my life. I’ve joined fitness classes and followed programs for the most part. But how much do we really push ourselves on our own? I thought I was pushing myself to my limit before I joined Vince’s “Corporate Power Hour” where a whole new limit was introduced to me. I found myself engaged in activities I never thought I could do like spinning and strength training. Vince’s classes differ than any other fitness class I’ve attended because he engages everyone in the class. His energy is contagious and he motivates everyone individually. From the beginner to the advanced, he makes you feel like you can do better. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, I was unable to attend as many classes as I wanted to so I started to go to the gym less often and with that, I started to gain weight and be less active in general. With my upcoming wedding, I found myself thinking about what I would wear and how I would look with the extra weight. Eight months before my wedding, I approached Vince and asked him if he can help me. From that day on, I didn’t have to worry about looking good on my wedding day. My commitment was to stick to our schedule and work as hard as I can. Vince made my training sessions fun and I looked forward to each one of them. He is passionate and committed to his work, he not only helped me look amazing in my wedding dress, but he increased my flexibility, my strength and most importantly, my self confidence. Thank you Vince for your dedication, your sense of humor and your positive outlook, it has made a world of difference in my life.

My journey began about a year ago when I received the “gift of fitness”. I was already a member at Physical Park Gym and I would go occasionally during my lunch hour and workout either on a cardio machine or with some light weights. I would walk in and out of the gym almost robotically, without any motivation and no real guidance. I wasn’t seeing any substantial results and like so many times before, with other gyms, I was ready to drop out, until some of my co-workers suggested I try one of Vince’s “Big Daddy Fitness” classes.
Vince was in the process of designing a fitness program, “The Corporate Power Hour” incorporating everything from cardio, strength training, muscle toning, flexibility and posture. The program was made to provide a complete and balanced workout: five 1 hour noon classes, Monday to Friday, perfect for people who worked in the area and wanted to train during their lunch hour. (like me!) At first the classes and routines were very challenging for me but at the same time interesting and fun. Everyday was a different class and I started slowly with one or two times a week. It took some time and determination but eventually I was doing all 5 classes weekly. What kept me going is Vince’s enthusiasm and the support of my co-workers. I tried classes I had never done and thought I would never do, such as spinning! To my surprise, I now looked forward to going to the gym daily.
The real change in me started happening when Vince suggested I join another one of his programs, “Women In Motion”, held one night a week for two hours. This program was designed for women with a common goal: weight loss. In addition to everything offered in his other classes, Vince would check our food logs weekly and educate us on good nutrition, helping us make the right choices. Weight and measurements were taken and our progress was recorded. The great thing about “Women In Motion” is that we really came together as a group and offered each other encouragement and support. Good friendships were formed and we all had fun while we worked hard towards our goals.
Meeting Vince for the first time, his size and powerful voice were enough to make me a little intimidated but when I started taking his classes, I quickly saw what an effective motivator he was. He is a compassionate person who really wants to help people and takes pleasure in seeing them succeed. His energy and passion is contagious. All you have to do is walk into one of his spin classes and you instantly feel the energy in the air. It truly is a unique experience. Just when you think you can’t go on anymore he has a way of keeping you going, pushing you beyond your limits and onto the next level. All you have to do is come in with an open mind and put in everything you have.
Keeping my weight under control has always been a struggle for me, but only after I had my children did it become a losing battle. When you’re taking care of your loved ones it’s easy to neglect yourself and fall into bad habits. I was gaining weight and nothing I tried seemed to help until I joined Vince’s program. Since I started the program I have lost 30 pounds, have increased energy levels and feel so much more confident. I am continuing to lose and am on my way to being in the best shape of my life.
Vince taught us that being in shape is not only about the physical shape of your body but being able to use your body to its potential and fully enjoying life. As my fitness level improves so do my possibilities of what I could accomplish inside and outside the gym. I went from no spinning to participating in several of Vince’s challenging theme spin classes including a four hour climb “The Ten Peaks”. Furthermore, I will be joining in the “Everest Climb for Angels”, a 5 hour Spin-O-Thon to raise funds for the Angelman Foundation. Last fall, Vince shared with us his passion for the mountains and the outdoors by introducing us to hiking in the Adirondacks. He led us in a corporate hike that turned out to be one of the most exhilarating experiences my co-workers and I have ever had. He continues to organize group hiking trips and exposing people to new and exciting adventures.
Vince has helped me make a significant change in my life and I will forever be grateful to him for that.
Thanks, Vince!

"Thank You" is typically saved for endings; for moments passed and accomplishments completed. My "Thank You" is for a beginning.
The 2 hour Spanish Open Theme Ride, was such an extraordinary experience last Saturday, that I have to ask, ...Who would have thought, 2 hours on a spin bike would have even been a possibility for me, less than 7 weeks ago?...Wait a minute....Let me answer my own question...You thought so, Vincent.
I don't really know how it happened, but somewhere between my myriad of protests and your perseverance…You managed to get me to try your class. I recall my months on the treadmills outside the spin room, hearing your... uh, how shall I put it...."Commanding voice" ;-) above the music and thinking to myself, "What could possibly be going on in there!". But of course, now I know.
You were creating magic.
You exude such a positive energy, Vincent... and that, paired with your absolute belief in everyone there completely fills that space; allowing each of us to tap into something deep inside; to push ourselves beyond what we had ever believed possible. People working together...People working individually...People working for you...People working for themselves...People doing whatever, whenever, however to get through the next challenge, the next interval, the next moment...as you put it, Vincent..."One foot at a time".
Months ago, you told me I could do it...I didn't believe you. However several of your spin classes and one 2 hour Spanish Open Challenge later, have proven me wrong. So, you were right, Vincent…You win. Yet... from where I'm spinning, it's kinda looking to me, like we're both winners ;-)
You have a gift, Vincent~ And yeah, I'm gonna say it...Thank you.

I have had the pleasure of training on a Corporate and Individual level with Vince at a nearby gym. He is a highly motivating trainer and has taken me personally to the next level by giving me the gift of fitness. Vince has introduced me and my coworkers to a new level of appreciation of the outdoors by incorporating all of the moves and daily training at the gym to our everyday lives and in new experiences, such as hiking in the mountains of the Adirondacks. The first time I went was with Vince as our guide and with 5 other associates from work we made our way up and over Pitchoff Mountain.
We went in the fall and the leaves had already turned so it was colourful and when we got almost to the 1st peak there was actually snow and it was like a winter wonderland. We were well prepared, thanks to the list that Vince provided for supplies and the talk we had to prepare us for our adventure. We brought healthy lunches, and snacks which we ate while we were moving mostly, and plenty of water. Vince kept a close eye on us for distance to make sure that we didn’t fall behind and we watched out for each other. We were made aware of not leaving anything behind on the mountain such as garbage. “Leave the mountain as you found it”.
We also experienced crawling through a deep crevice, with resistance I might add, only to come out on the other side to discover that we could have walked around. Vince talked us through it and assured us that we would be able to do it even though some of us didn’t want to. When we go out on the other side, we were rewarded with a large overhang above us almost like a roof and the view from there was awesome!
We got all caught up in the moment when we became deep in a winter wonderland of snow covered trees and trails and looking back at the awe in everyone’s faces as we experienced the thrill of nature without cars or people or anything else was …just wow! Vince never doubted our ability to handle the trek and even though some of the trails were hairy and we had to do some Tarzan moves to get from one spot to another, we stuck together as a Team and guided by the trail markings and Vince’s guidance we were able to make it across the 2 remaining peaks and down the mountain on the other side, tired but in awe of what we had done, we were quite all unaware of what we were able to achieve that day. 5½ hours later we were done and what a feeling that was! Vince played a very real part in that he trained us to live and breathe fitness and nutrition, and to incorporate it into our everyday lives! I never before enjoyed going to the gym or enjoyed even a walk outside.
On a personal level, Vince has given me the courage to be who I am and has pushed me to new levels of confidence and courage and has inspired me to always push myself and grow as an individual and in fitness. To stand on top of a Mountain and to do a 360 degree turn and see for miles is a very good feeling of accomplishment! To look stand on the south side of the mountain when the sun is shining and walk 100 yards to the north side of the mountain to where there is not so much sun but knee deep white sparkly snow and the trees are covered it’s like a winter wonderland…and still to have the view! Awesome! I have lost 35 pounds, I run and will participate in a 10 k run soon for the first time and I enjoy going to the gym and walking and have a new appreciation for walking outdoors and anticipate my next adventure to the Adirondacks. I have since enlisted my husband to join us and he loved it too! We are looking forward to our next mountain hike soon!
Thanks Vince! Susan Fernandes

ADK ChallengeWhew!~
Just off the heels of the2 ½ hourAdirondack Challenge this past Saturday, with the Spanish Open Challenge, now a distant memory, I am finally forced to conclude one thing…I am socompletely and utterly addicted to Vince’s Spin Challenges paving his Road to Everest!
I’ve mentioned before, that I never wanted to begin spinning and several weeks ago, the idea of 2-5 hour challenges, frankly held no interest for me. I amcertainly, noathlete; I merely plod away…do my thing. That’s it, that’s all. Oh yes, and there is of course, the obvious fact, that I don’t like spiders.
“Will you walk into my parlour?" said the Spider to the Fly,
'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
You see, for some strange reason, the mere mention of Vince’ Road to Everest, weeks back, drew me to fear a strong parallel betweenthese several hour spin challenges and the classic poem, by Mary Howitt, entitled “The Spider and the Fly”…and well, let’s face facts here,it just doesn’t end well for the fly; if you know what I mean.
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there."
Okay,Vince’s parlour? ...A little different from that of the Spider’s, I’ll give you that…rows and rows of Spin Bikes. However, his carefully woven web of dramatic music anddim lighting, intertwined with Vince’scoaxing encouragement seduces each willing fly into the room, much like the poetic Spider’s, to push beyond whatever holds us back; feeling our struggles, yet believing, …Uh, correction, “knowing” in our, …andmost certainly his,…Absolute victory.
“Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again." …
I did not want to do these challenges. Period. I pretended not to hear Vince’s announcing of each one after spin class (…and I gotta tell you, I had that ignoring thing down to a science). And yet something kept nagging at me. Curiosity? Intrigue? I cannot say for certain.
So cautiously, I succumbed. But differently from that little fly in the poem, I haven’t come to my demise. I have however, gotten so completely entangledin Vince’s Spin Challenge web, that I have never even considered trying to escape.
I am addicted indeed, and I will “ne’er come down again”…Somehow it happened, and I am on the Road to Everest…I swear I never saw it coming, and I certainly have no idea how the next 4 hour Ten Peaks Challenge will feel. The idea is intimidating, okay let’s keep it real…I am certain I’ve completely lost my mind!
Yet, the first two challenges have left mecompletely exhilarated! …Amazing people, phenomenal music and just an awesome feeling of accomplishment at the end! :-)))
Spiders? They don’t seem to bother me so much any more.
